  1. I'm a newer crocheter and am lost on rows 8-12 when it says to slip stitch into last stitch to join. I know how to slip stitch, but I'm not sure which is the last stitch that I'm going through or which part of the slipper I'm now making. Help?

  3. What I did was sc through all 8 sts in the 12th row and then sl st in the first st of that row. That makes a circle which becomes the heel. I then held the heel part close together and sl st through both sides of the heel, about 3 times I believe. Just fasten off and weave in the ends. Worked for me, hope that makes sense.

  5. to Unknown..this happens because you aren't completing a round but turning like you would with a flat piece (like a scarf) if you were at the end.

  6. rows 8-10 you do not complete the round instead you ch 1 and turn to continue the next row this is what makes the part of the opening and at the end of row 10 you sl st both ends together to finish off the slipper

  7. That last heel part I made up my own version to add the heel so i added a few decrease st's instead and it worked out :)
